Registrar of Voters to Host Voter Education Language Workshops

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF – The Registrar of Voters will be hosting a variety of language workshops aimed at educating all members of the community about the upcoming June 7, 2022 Statewide Direct Primary Election.  The workshops will be offered in thirteen languages: Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Korean, Khmer, Japanese, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, and Nepali.  All English-speaking and bilingual members of the public are welcome to attend these workshops which will mainly focus on:

  • Voter’s Choice Act
  • Vote by Mail
  • Vote Center Information

Our goal is to foster civic engagement and boost voter participation,” said Shannon Bushey, Registrar of Voters. “We are excited to offer these workshops for our wonderfully diverse community.”  

Attendees will also learn how they can get involved in the election process, including how to become an election worker or volunteer.
