Nomination Period Opens This Week for March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF – The Signature-in-Lieu of Filing Fee Period opens on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. for all offices for which there is a filing fee. This period will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Offices participating in the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election that have a filing fee are as follows:
- United States Senator
- United States Representative in Congress, Districts 16, 17, 18 and 19
- Member of the Assembly, Districts 23, 24, 25, 26, 28 and 29
- State Senator, Districts 13 and 15
- Judge of the Superior Court
- Board of Supervisors, Districts 2, 3 and 5
