Polls are Now Closed in the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF – All Vote Centers are now closed for the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election. Vote Centers in Santa Clara County accommodate voters who are on-site and in line to vote by 8:00 p.m.; lines are now capped and no additional persons will be allowed to enter.
As soon as the Vote Centers closed at 8:00 p.m., the Registrar of Voters released the first counts of 219,124 ballots cast, which includes Vote by Mail and Official Drop Box ballots that arrived before Election Day. The initial results have been posted on sccvote.org. and will be updated regularly through the night as ballots from Vote Centers arrive and are added to the tally. Read more....
